Jennie (Yevheniia) Rozhdestvenska

Hi all,

Katie and I have recently welcomed Jennie to come and stay with us in Bristol via the Homes for Ukraine scheme. Jennie was a student at Kharkiv University and managed to escape to the Czech Republic when the war broke out. Sadly her university and student home was destroyed by rockets a few days later. She arrived in Bristol on 18/04 with the clothes she was wearing and a small bag containing anything else she could squeeze in. Her mum, dad and younger brother are still in Ukraine, with her dad taking up arms to fight in the conflict.

She is a master's student and is looking to continue her studies at Bristol University. We're subsequently crowdfunding to try and help Jennie replace clothes and other personal effects as well as buy a laptop to continue her studies.
