It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Yevette Marie Ikens who passed away on August 5th 2025 at the age of 56. She was a beloved mother,Nana ,sister and a friend to many. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, compassion, love for others , and being able to accomplish any challenge she faced.
This loss has come unexpectedly, and while we are still processing our grief, we are also faced with the financial challenge of covering funeral and memorial expenses.
We are reaching out to our community — friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers — to ask for support during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward:
Funeral home and burial/cremation costs
Memorial service arrangements
Transportation and other final expenses
Our goal is to give Yevette the farewell she deserves — one that honors the love and light she brought into all of our lives.
If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this . Your kindness, support, and prayers mean the world to us right now.
If we go over our goal, any remaining funds will be donated to a charity in Yevette’s honor.
With love and gratitude.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 6th at Fricano’s in Muskegon from 3–7 PM.
This will be an open-house style visitation, and all who knew and loved Yevette are welcome to stop by and pay their respects.
