Dear hiking friends,

when being asked about the annual MeetUp fees in the past, I often shrugged it off and called it "my expensive hobby".

Thanks to many of your suggestions, I started a fundraiser last year — and it worked well!

From now on, I’d like to run one fundraiser per year.

It keeps things transparent and makes it easier to track.

Because a limit needs to be set, I have set the imaginary limit of "1 EUR per group member", based on the idea "If everyone gave 1 EUR, it would be more than enough", and I have set the limit based on today's number.

Please note: if you already donated in the last weeks, thanks a lot — and please only think about contributing again towards the end of next year!

It's up to you whether you give 1 EUR per hike, 1 EUR per month, 1 EUR per year, or anything in between.

Donations are completely voluntary, and if you already bring snacks or drinks to share for our picnics all the time, that's already enough and very appreciated!
