As some of you may know now, my mom, Yesenia, got diagnosed with stomach cancer a few weeks ago. A few months ago she started having trouble digesting food and had alot of stomach pains. As a Type 2 Diabetic her doctor prescribed her several medications to help her digest her food and help her with her pains. How ever, none of the medication helped. After an endoscopy was performed, doctors confirmed that she had Cancer in her stomach. Our family was beyond shocked and heartbroken. Our mother is the strongest woman in this world, and if you’ve had the privilege of meeting her you’ll know she’s the sweetest, strongest and most amazing woman. A lot of people have asked us of we have a go fund me account for her, as many people want to help. We are beyond thankful and grateful to have so many people reach out to us for prayers, help and support. 

My mom is not working anymore, and won’t work for many months, her insurance covers some of the bills but as we’ve started to notice the co-pays are very expensive, even with the insurance. We don’t want her to worry about anything, or my dad. We are asking you to make a small prayer for my mom and our family and if you’re able to donate we would appreciate it so much. Anything helps! 

My mom will be starting her Chemotherapy on Monday July 27th. Please keep our family and my mom in your prayers and God bless you!

Como algunos de ustedes saben ahora, mi madre, Yesenia, fue diagnosticada con cáncer en el estómago hace unas semanas. Durante algunos meses, había tenido problemas para digerir su comida y había tenido muchos dolores de estómago. Como diabética tipo 2, su médico le recetó muchos medicamentos diferentes para ayudarla a digerir su comida y ayudarla con sus dolores. A medida que pasaban los meses, ninguno de los medicamentos estaba ayudando. Después de una endoscopia, los médicos confirmaron que tenía cáncer en el estómago. Nuestra familia estaba más muy sorprendida y desconsolada. Nuestra madre es la mujer más fuerte del mundo y, si has tenido el privilegio de conocerla, sabrás que es la mujer más dulce, más fuerte y más increíble. Mucha gente nos ha pedido que tengamos una cuenta de Gofundme, ya que muchas personas quieren ayudar. Estamos más que agradecidos de que tanta gente nos solicite oraciones, ayuda y apoyo.

Mi madre ya no trabaja y no trabajará durante muchos meses, su seguro cubre algunas de las facturas, pero como hemos empezado a notar, los copagos son muy caros, incluso con el seguro. No queremos que se preocupe por nada, ni mi papá. Le pedimos que haga una pequeña oración por mi madre y nuestra familia, y si puede donar, se lo agradeceríamos mucho. ¡Cualquier cosa ayuda!

Mi madre comenzará su quimioterapia el lunes 27 de julio. ¡Por favor mantengan a nuestra familia y a mi mamá en sus oraciones y que Dios los bendiga!
