DEFEAT LYME DISEASE

Where to begin... Didn't think I'd ever get here, having to ask for people's help and support, specially when I know there is always someone out their with a lot tougher battles than mine.. However the time has come when I realise I have to get my head out of the clouds of denile and start to try and get better before it's to late, especially for my Daughter Summer who has a very high chance of having contracted my debilitating Lyme Disease in utero .
At the moment I'm @ a stage where I can feel the physical and neurological decline getting worse by the day and thought now was a good time to start trying to fundraise whilst I can still string a sentence together.
Lyme Disease holds a lot of political resistance in the medical scene all over the world and trying to receive treatment for chronic late stage Lyme is near impossible if you can't afford it, there is no subsidy by the government and if I were to remain in Australia my chances of beating this disease is slim and a long, long treacherous road. Not that the path I'm trying to go down doesn't come with its own risks but it's a gamble worth taking I hope :) .
I'm throwing whatever effort and energy I have left to try and make it to a Clinic in Germany where they treat Cancer and Lyme patients with a hyperthermia treatment where they heat your body up to high temperatures to try and kill the bacteria along with IV's and a multifaceted approach to try and rid your body of the disease. The cost is in Euros and Equivalent to $30,000
If you hold any interest in learning more about Lyme,as it is undoubtedly on the rise and will continue to destroy lives until their is more national medical recognition and media coverage of the havoc it wreaks and the lack of available treatments for Australians, there is a doco called under our skin , it's worth a watch even though old and based in America it's still accurate given the way lyme sufferers are still dealt with .
