Howdy folks...
My name is Ryan Grindstaff and I am a story teller. I like to tell stories visually and I am raising funds to bring my dark comedy, Yes, Dear, to life. As part of my Filmmaking program at New York Film Academy, I am required to write, produce, and direct a short film.
Yes, Dear is not only my intermediate film, but a short film that I am planning on sending to film festivals in the spring and summer of 2016.
We begin shooting in just a few weeks! Day one is Febuary 3, 2016. All funding is going to secure locations, permits, makeup and SFX, and of course feeding the crew.
This is going to be my first "big" production and my first attempt to hit up film festivals. I am very excited about this production and want to share it with all of my future EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS!
