It is with a heavy heart and high hopes for a happier and healthier future for us all that I am hoping to raise money for myself(Natalie) and Brianna and our boys Lincoln and Carlos. With the traumatic turn that the last month has taken in our nation and around the world we have found ourselves in an extremely stressful and uncomfortable financial situation.
If you know me, you know that I am as hard headed as they come and generally have the personality of the leader, caregiver, shoulder to lean on, and in a meme sense i'm that meme of the person in flames saying "i'm fine, it's fine, we are fine." So with that said, this entire concept of asking friends, family, loved ones, and strangers for money is painful and honestly embarrassing. But sometimes you just have to humble yourselves and realize you're not alone and you don't have to do things alone. And in that sense we are so blessed to have you all.
With that said we are both extremely giving and take pride in our ability to do things for those who are less fortunate than us. But at this time we find ourselves to be in the "less fortunate category."
I know what you're thinking, you guys live in a Orange County, you chose that. It's true, we chose that but we are also extremely hard workers and grinders and pour our blood sweat and tears into everything we have, who happen to have come upon harder than accomplishable times by ourselves.
Brianna recently found out that she got into medical school at the University of Utah to become a Physician Assistant, which is a HUGE deal and deserves a party and a celebration and maybe even some cake! But... with the corona virus taking me out of work since the first week of March and likely through April we have found that we have exhausted our financial means and are also not able to work at this time.
Our move is scheduled for April but that entails paying(alot) to break a lease, paying April rent in 2 different states, paying a deposit on a new place in Utah, (which you are all more than welcome to visit anytime as repayment!) and paying a large deposit for Bri to be able to start school. All this month, all with me having no job....... not a good feeling.
If you can find it in your heart and within your own financial struggles at this time we would be the most grateful and gracious receivers of your giving that you could ever imagine. We are kind and considerate people who can truly make the promise that we will pay this forward. Cross my heart.
Yours Truly,
Awkwardly Embarrassed Natalie &
Excited to Cure Viruses of The Future Brianna
