Hi, my name is Joel, and I do TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) in Borough Park, Brooklyn.
While working on a local colony in my neighborhood this past weekend, I managed to trap Dennis. Dennis is a senior cat that has roamed the neighborhood fighting other strays and looking for scraps to make it by.
Dennis has clearly been suffering for a long time. His left eye is badly infected — possibly beyond saving — and he’s showing signs of a serious upper respiratory infection. He’s weak, congested, and in pain.
But even after all he’s been through, Dennis didn’t hiss or swat. He just sat there quietly, as if waiting for someone to finally help him. Now that someone has to be us.
Dennis Needs Emergency Care:
Veterinary exam & diagnostics
Eye treatment or surgery (if removal is needed)
Antibiotics, pain meds, fluids
Vaccinations, bloodwork
Safe place to recover
I’m doing everything I can, but Dennis’s medical needs go far beyond what I can cover alone. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
Ways You Can Make a Difference:
Donate anything you can — even $5 helps.
Share Dennis’s story — reach others who care.
Follow for updates — I’ll post progress every step of the way.
Dennis never had anyone looking out for him. Now he does. With your help, we can give him a second chance at living a healthy life, whether as an indoor cat or community colony cat.
Thank you all for your help,
