On Monday, May 18, our beloved son Matthew was involved in a fire accident involving a bonfire. As a result of this accident, Matt has 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his hands, arms and legs as well as facial blistering and burns. His recovery time will be long and difficult. He will be out of work for an unknown time, but his financial responsibilities and medical needs will be ongoing.

 

Those who know Matt know him to be a friendly, generous and loving man who would not hesitate to help others when the need arises. At this moment, Matt is the one in need. Matt is the loving father of two daughters, Cailynn and Meadow.

  

We are all devastated by the situation we find Matt and ourselves in. Aside from the heart-wrenching suffering and rehabilitation Matt must experience, he will be unable to continue to make a living for himself and his girls for the foreseeable future.
