Young Biz Owner = Passion + Profit

This video was an introduction to a Teen Entrepreneur Summer Camp.  We worked with 12 teens from wealth-challenged backgrounds and helped them to learn the basics of sales, marketing and event-planning in a hands-on learning experience.  The teens gained confidence and skills while earning money during their 4 week experience.  

Did you know that up to 75% of foster children that age out of the system end up on government assistance.  We now have a collaborative team of 4 non-profits, along with a team of instructors and business owners who are ready to give a new group of challenged young people in the 16-25 year old range the opportunity to build a business while being mentored by business owners in the community.  

We are asking for your help to cover fees for the instructors, facilities, materials and a performance-based stiped for each of the students.  When you decide to contribute, would you be so kind as to also leave us a comment letting us know how you found out about us?  We have some "contests" going on!
