In Memory of My Beloved Late Father, Mahmood Hassan Husain

Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un (Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return).

My father made countless sacrifices to provide for his family, care for us, and offer us a life filled with opportunity and stability. In his memory and with Allah’s will, we strive to give back to those in need in Cameroon, Togo, and Benin.

As part of our Sadaqah Jariyah, we are committed to supporting vulnerable communities in these regions by ensuring reliable access to safe, clean water. This essential resource will meet critical needs such as drinking, cooking, washing, crop irrigation, and performing ablution, bringing lasting benefit to those who need it most.

The Cause

I have partnered with Crisis Aid to deliver a total of three wells—one each in Cameroon, Togo, and Benin.

The Need

Cameroon

In rural areas, children often drink from the same muddy pools as animals. This leads to severe waterborne diseases, claiming the lives of over 6,000 children under five every year.

Togo

Women and girls are forced to walk up to 10 kilometres daily, often in dangerous conditions, to fetch water that is frequently contaminated and unsafe.

Benin

Over 4,000 children die annually from preventable diseases caused by polluted water, devastating families with the loss of young lives.

May Allah (SWT) forgive his sins, have mercy on his soul, expand his grave, and elevate his ranks to the highest levels of Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
