Yellowstone County-Spectator Ban Order Injunction

To All Sports Families & Yellowstone County Concerned Citizens:
As you are all aware, Yellowstone County Health Officer John Felton gave notice of the “No Fans” restriction for all Yellowstone County schools and athletic programs.
As a community, parents and fans, we have the right to voice our opinion. Therefore, we would ask for your help in reversing this decision to allow families to support their children.
In order for our voices to be heard we need act now in a rational, and professional manner. We have an attorney who is researching Montana and Yellowstone County law, and assuming that goes well, they will immediately file an Injunction against Yellowstone County to force them to re-review their decision in NOT allowing fans to attend games. In order to do this however, we need a plan. Below are some ideas we have come up with in order to accomplish our goals. Remember, we have to come to the table with reasonable requests in order to reach our goal.
· 2 vouchers per child (to start as we go on this may be increased to 4)
· Masks required (no mask, no entry into the game) NO Exceptions
· 6 feet spacing (home team will place a flag or some kind of marking where people can sit)
· Fans leave immediately after the game
· Home team will provide hand sanitizes at the gate
· No concessions
· No co-mingling by the fans
· Home team will have someone at the gate taking temperatures.
Another items of importance is the safety and health of the athletes on the field. Athletes of all sports suffer injuries. Emergency personnel cannot always leave games or sporting events to take an injured athlete to the local hospital emergency room. Parents and legal guardians need to be available to do that for their athlete.
With that said, unfortunately nothing is free. We will have to pay attorney’s fees. We are asking for the financial support of families and anyone interested in supporting our children through this tumultuous time.
All of the money raised will go towards attorney fees and costs. The money will be put into the law firm's trust account and billed out accordingly.
