Wildfire Relief-Yellow Bird's Fundraiser for Hay

We are connected to the land, we depend on it for our food, and medicines, she provides all we need. For many they depend on her for their livelihood. The horses, deer, elk, buffalo, all the animal nations depend on it for food, in turn we depend on the animal nations for sustenance, it's all part of the circle of life.

The animal nations are crying, the earth is crying. This fire has a major impact on our community. We need your support. Miles and miles of fencing need to be repaired, the land needs to be restored, the animals need hay. We are a horse and buffalo culture, the horses and buffalo are integral to our way of life and belief system. How we care for our horse, buffalo, dog and all animal relatives is a direct connection to how we care for our own people. We need your help with hay for our animal relatives, their grazing pastures have burned. Because of the drought it is already difficult to get hay in this area, so we have to look further and the costs increase. NDN collective will be matching funds up to $10,000 to assist with these efforts.
