Maeve was found unconscious by her mama on December 27th. She was seizing and unable to stop. Maeve and her mom were flown out to the IWK via Life Flight while Grammy and daddy drove down to be by her side. There are still not many answers, but it has been confirmed that Maeve has parent influenza, pneumonia and another bug. With Maeve’s adrenal insufficiency, it’s hard for them to determine what the cause of the seizure was. She went for a CT scan and now the Neurologist wants her in for an MRI as there are brain abnormalities he is concerned about. They stopped the sedation drug to see how she would wake up and she was moving her feet in more of a reaction like movement than seizure like, but they decided it was best to keep her sedated for now so she can rest.

It’s going to be a long road ahead. This go fund me is to help cover expenses to keep Maeve’s mom, dad, and grammy by her side at the IWK without worrying about finances.
