Rhonda began to become ill a year and a half ago with continuous trips to Altru ER. Her heart began to fail, her legs began to fill with fluid, and the fight was on. Last August, Rhonda was hospitalized at Mayo, with numerous trips to Altru, Sanford in Fargo, back to Altru, and now at the U of M Fairview in Minneapolis, where the doctor placed a G-feeding tube to help with severe malnutrition. This procedure came with a multiple-week stay in the hospital with a possible long-term care facility to assist while Rhonda gets stronger and is able to be her sweet, independent self!

Rhonda continues to suffer from severe malnutrition, heart failure, chronic kidney & liver failure, fibromyalgia, anemia, lumbar radiculopathy, osteoarthritis, and many other diagnoses. The current goal is to hope that Rhonda will absorb the tube nutrition, keep her electrolytes stable without receiving them through IV, as well as get her eating and walking.

Rhonda and family are seeking donations to assist with continuous medical bills, long-term stays in hotels, transportation, and all that comes along with it.
