Yeats' Scoliosis Surgery Recovery

Yeats is my amazing 16 year old rock star of a nephew who has been living with severe scoliosis (curvature of the spine). It has progressed to a painful, debilitating condition, but the good news is that he has surgery scheduled for October 19!! Recovery will be difficult and is expected to take six weeks. To support him through his recovery, his mom Tammy will be at his side, and will have to be away from her job. Unfortunately, her accrued vacation will not cover the amount of time she'll need to take off and she'll be required to take potentially several weeks off without pay. As you can imagine, this would be a hardship for anyone. Her family has created this page to help support her and Yeats so they can focus on his healing and recovery and not have to worry about financial challenges.
