I Lara Wragg - am a 15 year old year 11 student at the North London school of parliament hill and i'm trying to raise money so that our amazing year group can finish their time off at parliament hill with something to remember. We'd like to gather the funds so that everyone will be able to receive a leavers hoodie and yearbook to remember our brilliant memories over these past last years.
I plan to do a 50 mile cycle- from London to Brighton and also to run a half marathon; In order to gain the funds for the entirety of our year to get hoodies.
Typically, in a normal world without covid we would be enjoying our last years of secondary school; doing bake sales, sport challenges, pyjama days and other various fundraisers to raise money for our final celebrations- yet of course this year we have not been able to do it.
Our last two years in 10 and 11 are generally the funnest, the best memories, school trips and excellent and interesting learning, however all these things have been robbed from our class of 2021- and unfortunately we've been faced with endless hours of staring at screens, and the misery of learning at home.
The abnormality we have faced as a year group has been particularly unlucky, and as we move on to the next chapter of our lives in 6th form, we must remember the perseverance from all 180 students in the class of 2021. To remember each other I would like for everyone to receive a leavers hoodie and a book of wonderful memories during our time at the most wonderful school.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated so we can reach our goal and have a thoughtful send off from Year 11.
