On September 27, residents in Deer Park, CA near Angwin were instructed to evacuate. Mike, Angie, and Skyler left their home in Deer Park and evacuated to a friend's home in the valley. 
Today, (Sept 28), they awoke to the news that their home had burned along with many others on their street.
The Yeager's have renter's insurance and are confident this will help them in the long-run, but I am setting up this GoFundMe to help soften and hopefully reduce the financial stress of being displaced. Ultimately, this is just a way for us to pour out love and support for a family who has given so much to their community throughout the years.
Work will most likely need to be put on pause and the costs of being displaced for an undefined amount of time can be daunting (food, lodging, clothes, gas, etc).

The Yeager's have been long-time family friends to the point where they just ARE family to us now. They have been supportive and strong for my family over the years; countless joint family vacations, caring for my grandmother when she has been hospitalized and evacuating her from her assisted living facility yesterday, being there in times of grief and loss, and helping my parents when we celebrated our wedding last year.
