Hey there, my name's Nick Salinas and I've been hit with a double-whammy.

My car was repossessed at around 2:00am on Monday, May 5th 2025. That night, I was woken up by one of my housemates who alerted me that the car was being repossessed. I tried to stop it by running down the stairs, which led to me tripping and breaking my ankle on the way down. It is a complex fracture that will need surgery in the coming week or two.

This morning I was called by the lien holder that informed me which company took the car, as well as a payment option I had to reinstate ownership of the car. I will need to pay ~$2000 for the car, and God knows how much my ambulance ride, ER visit, and future surgery on my ankle will cost.
