Help Maria Fight Terminal Lymphoma Cancer

Hello my name is Diana Vasquez and the woman you see in the picture above is my mom Maria Diaz. She is an undocumented immigrant from Mexico who came to this country 25 years ago, and is now in need of a chemotherapy treatment after being told her Lymphoma cancer has came back for the second time now at stage 4.This time the cancer is spread throughout her body including lungs, bone, spleen and cervix. My oldest brother and I have been trying for months to get my mom a gold card but have failed as we keep getting denied. A new application has been sent and we are praying she gets accepted this time as we are currently over fourteen thousand dollars in debt.It seems as her usual hospital doesn’t want to continue treating her if no insurance is on file. The treatment she needs for such aggressive cancer is only available in Marylands National Cancer Institute, there she can get treatment as an undocumented person. My family has always resided here in Houston but because of this we are willing to relocate to Maryland in order for my mom to receive treatment.I ask from the bottom of my heart to anyone who’s able to donate to please do it anything helps during these rough times. My mother has 3 kids including myself all aged 19 and younger who need help in order to pay for this treatment. To hear more of this story please continue reading.

My mother was first diagnosed with lymphoma cancer in 2021 at the age of 51.The cancer was found in her brain and
was immediately treated with multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Thankfully she was able to get through such strong treatments without loosing much mobility. In a couple of months with mobility therapy she was able to gain her strength back and be a bit more ike herself before she became ill.In between 2022 and 2023 her cancer came back again, this time the tumor was found in her breast.Again the process was repeated and she had to undergo chemotherapy. With that she became more
weaker and weaker after each round loosing weight, strength, basic understanding of things etc…but thankfully made it out again.Today March 2024 the cancer is back and stronger. My mom is now weaker as the
days pass the cancer only spreads and hasn’t been treated for. My family and I are
all trying our best to get my mom the help she needs. Please help us and keep us in your prayers may God bless you all and I thank y’all from the bottom of my heart for taking you time and reading this.
