Ashton went in to the ER and a large mass was revealed to be on his brain. A whirlwind later, the Adam’s family would learn that Ashton has a very rare form of cancer known as Central Nervous System Cancer called Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor. The original location of Ashton’s cancer has resulted in facial changes and paralyzed vocal cords, requiring the need for a tracheotomy. He has been at a Marshfield ‘s Children’s Hospital since his diagnosis.
Robin and Martin Adams are two of the most beautiful people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Their young daughters, Aloni and Amaya, are equally as precious to me; I consider them like my own. Robin and Martin are kind, loyal, once in a lifetime kind of friends. Not to mention sweet Ashton, a true fighter and determined little boy.
The struggle for the family to keep up with Ashton’s health and medical issues while simultaneously managing the intense emotions and daily needs of their other two children, all while shouldering the burden of day to day expenses partnered with astronomical medical bills is overwhelming. Both Robin and Martin have had to go back to work and as a result, rotate weeks with Ashton to make ends meet.
Many of you have reached out to the family and to me, asking what you can do to help. It’s been hard to answer that question in any kind of tangible way simply due to the circumstances— until now.
I am organizing this campaign and rallying for the angel in all of us to rise up for Ashton and his family in an attempt to relieve at least one weight on their heavy, but hopeful hearts. Giving financially through this campaign could change so much for the Adam’s family. If you know them you know there never was a family more deserving of assistance and if you don’t you can rest assured that there truly never was a family more deserving of being blessed in this way.
Will you please consider joining his fight and become one of Ashton’s Angels?
