On Friday, July 3rd our dear sweet dad left this earth. He was the most amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend. His loving heart was felt by everyone he met. Dad had knee replacement surgery two months ago. He never made it home. He struggled thru many complications and fought a fight that was truly amazing to watch. Dad just wanted to get home, to be with Mom and the "dogs". No One loved his family more. We are struggling financially to cover all of the burrial costs and getting my youngest son back to California again for the funeral if possible. We did everything would could until all that was left was to sit at Dad's bedside and release him to heaven. It was beautiful and it was very hard. My kids would love their brother to be here with them for comfort. It would be a great weight lifted to have some of these expenses covered. Both me and my brother have missed a lot of work to be there for Dad and Mom. We'd do it again in a heartbeat. No Regrets. We promise to pay it forward to the next family in need. And we will find a way to honor the amazing staff at Transitions and the incredible team of ICU staff at French Hospital. They saw Dad's loving spirit and honored him with dignity and kindness. Thank you ❤️
