Julie's Funeral Fund

This week, on the evening of September 8th, the Pimentel family lost Julie, after a 12 year battle with several illnesses. She was only 19. She was diagnosed with a rare ovarian cancer at age 7, and before that she suffered from a seizure disorder as well as intention tremors. Along with ovarian cancer, she had cataracts, hearing loss, cognitive disorder, a failure to gain weight and other diagnoses. In her last years and leading up to her final months Julie was continuing in her school studies. She was looking forward to graduating this year. Julie was unrelentingly strong when dealing with her illnesses. She hardly ever cried and faced her ailments with bravery. Julie was a very thoughtful and selfless young lady. She worried about others before herself. We are grieving for her loss, yet joyful for her newfound home in heaven. She will be greatly missed.

Because of Julie’s illnesses, the past summer has been a great strain for the family as Julie was in ICU for the majority of the summer.
