This morning we received a phone call with some of the worst news you can receive. My mother-in-law’s house had burnt down. Luckily, my mother was taking the kids to school, and no one was hurt. We are glad that no one was in danger, but my husband’s younger siblings have no idea that their home is no longer standing. Before they return from school, where there are doubts if they are genuinely safe because of the pandemic, I want to have a plan of action set up to meet their base needs. We ask for any donations to ensure that they receive food, water, safety, and warmth.
