Kings Heath Cat Club Rescue
I help run a cat rescue for stray, abandoned, unwanted & feral cats in the Birmingham & West Midlands area, we have really struggled this year like many others, unfortunately we have reached a point now where our vets will no longer provide us with routine appointments for our rescue cats as we have an outstanding accumulative bill of around £8500 between our 2 vet practices.
We really do need all the help we can get to help get this bill below our agreed credit limit of £3000, we asked our facebook members for ideas in fundraising and crowd funding was mentioned more than once so we thought we would give it a shot.
The cats who come to us more often than not each cost £100's some even £1000's in vet bills due to illnesses, injuries and routine vet work.
All cats who are rehomed by us have a clean bill of health and unlike many other rescues we do all vaccinations, neutering, blood testing and microchipping before a cat leaves us so you have no initial bills to pay for once you take your new cat/kitten home, these procedures alone cost around £150 per cat.
We also do all dental work for any cats in our rescue as standard practice which generally costs around £350 pc.
If you can help us by donating a few pounds towards our huge vet bill we would be eternally grateful, alternatively if you can share this link with your friends and family we would be equally grateful.
Thank you in advance for all help we receive, we genuinely cannot continue to help the cats without each and every one of you.
