Camps International Peru Trip 2026

My name is Thomas McGettrick, I am 14 years old and I am raising money for a once in a lifetime, four-week Camps International, educational and impactful expedition to Peru in 2026.

During my time there, I will be involved with projects that bring benefit to the rural communities such as building small homes, washing facilities and toilet blocks to improve sanitation and infrastructure. I am also looking forward to working on wildlife and environmental projects that will help protect the fragile ecosystems.

Of course, it would not be a complete experience to Peru without a five-day trek up through some stunning landscapes, before reaching the famous Inca City, Machu Picchu!

Welsh 3000's Mountain Challenge

In August this year, I will be challenging myself to hike the 15 mountains in Wales, all exceeding 3000 feet in height, located within Snowdonia National Park.
