My name is Sam Watkins and I live in Ghana where I work with a poverty stricken community.  Kids here barely get one meal a day!  Current finances meet basic needs (food & housing) only.    Right now we have two kids that require surgeries and no funds to cover the cost.

Meet Uzziel (5 years old). She needed hernia surgery which costs around $650. This will pay for pre exams, surgery, post exams, and transportation.    Last week (January 2022) she had her surgery.  She is recovering now.

Not a great picture here she is ready for surgery

This is Nana (6 years old.)    Nana has a defect that needs surgery to correct ($750).  That amount covers transportation, Dr visits, surgery and medicine costs.   This defect is affecting his daily life.  His mom is working any jobs she can find, but can't afford surgery as food and lodging are the top priorities.

This little girl was dropped on her head when she was a newborn and abandoned.   Doctors thought she would be blind and no one would take responsibility for her.  She has been growing and doing so much better with a caretaker.  She is almost 2 now and about to be adopted.   Keep scrolling down to see a few other faces of the kids in this group that we are trying to help feed, house, and get medical attention.
