Mein Neffe ist an SMA Typ 1 erkrankt. Ich möchte alles geben, um ihn die Kosten für die Therapie finanzieren zu können. Die Summe für das Medikament "ZolgenSMA" beträgt 2,3 Million Dollar. Alleine ist dies natürlich nicht möglich. Mit Hilfe einer Spendenaktion möchte ich so viele Menschen wie möglich erreichen.

Yagizege is 15 months old baby suffering from SMA type 1 (Spinal Muscular Atrophy). SMA Type 1 is a life-limiting condition. Though it is not possible to accurately predict, the majority of children (approximately 95%) life expectancy is less than 18 months. Yagizege has not received the medication that he needs every 4 month (Spinaraza - Nursinersen). Therefore he has difficulty breathing, and his condition is extremely urgent and critical.
The good news is that there is a treatment available that is proven to be effective. Yagizege would need to travel to the US to receive gene therapy with a medicine called Zolgensma . Zolgensma is the most expensive drug ever approved by the FDA. The cost of this treatment is 2.3 million Dollars. His family has raised approximately $600,000, and with your help, they can reach their goal. This is Yagizege's only chance, and you can help save his life!
