Fire Damage

Hi, my name is Jeanna and I am requesting donations to help cover the overwhelming costs that come after a house fire.

While at work last night both Paul and I received a call from our 15 year old daughter, telling us there was a fire at home, and thankfully, that she was able to get herself, and her siblings out safely.

I am extremely grateful that she was aware enough to first notice the fire, and then act quickly under pressure.

When the fire marshal reached out today to let us know we could go inside, I naïvely did not expect to see so much damage. We knew the fire started in the townhouse located next to us and burned the back of the house pretty badly, but I did not expect the upstairs damage that spread throughout the attics to be so extensive. In addition to the fire, the water and smoke damage left our 7 year old daughter and 11 year old son with only the clothes they were wearing. The rest of us were lucky enough to at least have some undamaged belongings.

It’s overwhelming to attempt to process what happened. We are trying to wrap our minds around the fact that we have to start over, but we are immensely grateful that no one was hurt.
