Broken Ankle Breaks Bank

It's not like me to ask for help very often , anyone who knows me, knows I'm a HUGE animal lover. And the animals are fabulous anti depressants for me. I look forward to my walks at the beach with them , with great enthusiasm every day. The beach is my happy place !!
On Tuesday morning around 2 am , I was heading to bed after having fallen fast asleep on the couch. After shutting all of the lights off I was heading to the back sliding door to close and lock it for the night. Pitch black darkness.
Two steps in and I tripped over Kona who lay there waiting to follow me into the bedroom. In an instant I was screaming in pain! I knew I had done something serious to my ankle.
I was so angry with myself.
Like a flash before my eyes Randy was there to comfort and help me up!
We both looked at my right ankle and gasped !!
Already swelling to TWICE the size of my left ankle it looked deformed ! I felt nauseous.
Fighting to believe that it was just a bad sprain, I chose to wait until 8 am when Urgent Care opens to save on some cost.
The staff at the Sorrento Mesa SRS Urgent Care were Absolutely amazing !
The news however was Devastating !!
The x- rays showed tri malleolar fracture. Please see attatched picture !
I need surgery and at least two months of recovery time !
As a Cash paying patient , I face exorbitant bills !!
