Ana was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 2017. After going through chemo, radiation and surgery she conquered the beast like we all knew she would. It has recently came back and is now Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, meaning it has spread to her liver.  The conventional doctors have told her that there is no cure but they can prolong her life by doing chemo and radiation yet again. As we all know, this treatment is a tough road and it completely shuts down your immune system. After doing tons of research, Ana had decided she wants to go the alternative functional medicine route. This is not covered by insurance and is very expensive but could be her only chance to survive this. We all know that money shouldn’t get in the way of someone’s health and definitely shouldn’t get in the way someone’s life.
