Hi, My name is Ada Marrero and I’m setting up this GoFundMe in loving support of my dearest best friend, Diana Gavin in North Vancouver who suddenly suffered a stroke on Feb 23rd, 2025.

In an instant, Diana’s life has changed. My health conscious, fitness loving best friend is now dealing with right-side paralysis and complete loss of speech.

We never know what tomorrow will bring or how quickly life can change. She’s going to need extensive therapy, but if anyone can fight through this, it’s her. With her fiery spirit and unwavering determination, I know she will. She has always been a fighter, dedicating her life to caring for others.

Diana worked with children and adults with severe autism and physical disabilities—a career she loved.

She worked tirelessly in private care and took on whatever jobs she could to maintain her simple yet beautiful life. Now, she needs our help.
