My name is Nancy Austin and I am reaching out to my community to ask for support for my grandson Rowan Drake.
Rowan is 17 and currently finding his way through the world and expressing himself through music. In addition to school and his music he has been working and pouring that money into recording his original songs at a local studio. Rowan has now released his first two songs which have accumulated a total of 35 thousand streams/listens! Rowans' third single "Let You Go" comes out Friday (10/16) and can be listened to along with his other music under his name Rowan Drake on all music platforms (links below). He has Momentum right now and to keep that going requires consistently recording and releasing music weekly. While the studio is an amazing space; For a young and new artist the fees can really add up and become unsustainable.
In light of this Rowan has now begun using his saving to purchase his own recording equipment so he can produce, create, and release more music.
This endeavor is a large one and will require the support of a larger community, to keep the current sound quality that the studio provided Rowan, we will have to raise 1500$.
So far Rowan and his family have purchased an audio interface for 200$, all of the necessary cables and adaptors for another 100$. In addition, Rowan has another 300$ saved for a percentage of the microphone.
The 1500$ raised would be used to purchase the studio level mic (600$) And the necessary plugins/computer software (680$), which create the smoothness, structure, and vocal quality needed for any radio level song.
