Jason Kellum's Healing Journey
Donation protected

Jason Kellum is a 35 year old member of the Bibb County Sheriff office in Macon, Ga. Jason is a Corporal on the K9 squad. On September 16, 2015, Jason was riding four wheeler with his daughter, Kinsley. Jason suffered a stroke yet pulled it together enough to get him and his daughter back home. Jason was rushed to the Coliseum Hospital ER, where it was decided he needed to be airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta where he was placed in ICU. Jason was paralyzed on the left side of his body.
A clot busting drug was given to Jason in the hopes of reversing the effects of the stroke. After airlifting Jason to Grady Memorial, an angiogram was performed where some blood clots where broken up and removed. This morning Jason has some movement in his left leg, slight movement in his left arm and is still having issues with his vision. They will be performing more tests in the days to come.
Jason and his wife Ashley are such a young family. Both Ashley and Jason are the definition of friends. Jason has a gruff side but for those of us who know him, we know he is actually a big teddy bear. Especially when it comes to his wife and daughter, Kinsley!
Jason is the type of person that if you asked for help, he would do anything he could to help you out. Even if you didn't ask for help and he found out you needed help, he would call and ask what he could do for you.
It's our turn to help this family out! They did not ask for help, but they are going to need it. Whether it be medical expenses that insurance doesn't cover to daily living expenses.
Please donate any amount, no amount is too small. It all adds up in the end.
Let's help this family in their time of need! Hang in there Ashley and Jason.
The account is setup so the funds go directly to Jason and Ashley. That way she has access to it whenever they need it.
