Boyd Family Fire Relief

On December 30th, the Marshall and Middlefork wildfires swept across Louisville, CO, devastating much of the neighborhoods & community. Cheryl, Lawrie & the boys evacuated safely to a hotel in Denver taking next to nothing with them. They found out the next morning that their home was unfortunately destroyed in the fire.

I (Erin D'Arcy) had the opportunity to chat with Cheryl on the night of the 30th. Lawrie was graciously giving her a moment and went to the hotel pool with Liam & Everett to keep them distracted. While I'm sure Lawrie & Cheryl were feeling indescribable anxiety and stress, there they were - holding it together for the boys. In my brief chat with Cheryl, I was amazed at her strength, grace and ability to still crack several good jokes in the midst of the fear & waiting.

If you have the pleasure of knowing the Boyd's, you've undoubtedly experienced their love and immense generosity. They are some of the kindest, most thoughtful, and caring people. If you haven't met them before, but found yourself here on this page, you should do whatever you can to meet them in the future, as it doesn't get much better than them.

We're hoping to raise funds to help them as they work to rebuild & recover, whether it's just the immediate needs & essentials like toothpaste and clothing or giving them a bit of financial breathing room in the months to come as they navigate this difficult time.
