I am a 38-year-old mother of four children and an 18-year-old brother from the north of Gaza. My story began on the 9th of October when I refused to leave my city despite Israeli warnings because I refused the idea of leaving my house by force and thought the war would end in a few days. But it wasn't like that. My children, brother, and I went through six months of hell as shelling and bombing haven't stopped even for one day.

I want to to travel to study to can rebuild my life after I lost my beautiful house and the place where my husband used to work.

I want to travel with my childern as the UN schools of my children and brother were demolished, and there is no way for them to study again in Gaza.

The war badly affects my children's and brother's psychology as many of their friends and relatives were killed. My little 3-year-old Mariah keeps asking anyone talking about his/her friends, "Is s/he killed?" She said to me, "Look, there's breaking news...all people are dead." My 8-year-old Sarah shouts when she hears the sound of shelling and asks me to take her to a safe place, saying, "Take me to the south." She doesn't know that five of my cousins were killed in the south.

I lost my big brother, my uncle who was executed by the Israeli soldiers with his son, and 30 of my cousins in the current war. I am afraid to lose my children and little brother.

I live near Shifa Hospital and went through very hard times with my children, which would need many letters to be told. But what affected us the most was being forced to walk beside tanks between the bodies. We survived, but another mother with her little son did not make it.

I am the mother who struggles to achieve a safer future for her children and little brother. I hope you can save me and my family from this hell.
