Help Jessica Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Hi Everyone its Carla Murray your friend, family member, neighbor and Gentle Home Care Assistant manager Please take a minute to read my message below regarding Jessica Black and her plight and why I am trying to raise money for her to repair her home and vehicle that were damaged by hurricane Helene.

Whenever natural disasters strike, I think I would like to help the people directly affected but am never certain how to do it. Being here in Florida my odds are pretty good that I know someone affected by hurricane Helene. Many of you know I work for Gentle Home Care, a company that hires caregivers for people with special needs. That is how I met Jessica Black. She was a mom, trying to work around her daughter’s school day and going through a painful divorce. She needed a flexible schedule, and we had a perfect match.

So, why did I select to champion Jessica Black? Simple, I was moved to do so, and if you have ever been moved, you know you must do it. See not only was her house flooded, but also her vehicle. Her situation, which was already on shaky ground, has been turned upside down. Where do you go with your daughter and two dogs? Better yet, how do you get there? Her road to travel will be rocky at best, and obstacles we can only imagine lie ahead.

I am reaching out to you, to see if you can help Jessica as you did me 4 years ago. As you can imagine, every penny is precious, and if you can spare a few to help Jessica, it would be greatly appreciated.
