MY FIRST MISSIONS TRIP

Hi, all. I’ve never done this before, and asking for money for anything feels weird. BUT I do believe there’s a handful of you who would love to help me.

ABOUT ME:

As some of you know, the Lord has radically changed my heart since November of 2023. I could never tell my entire testimony or the capacity of Gods grace and goodness over my life in a “GoFundMe” text box. I could go on and on about His mercy, love, kindness, and steadfastness over my time on this side of eternity (I asked Siri if steadfastness is a word… she affirmed that it is).

ANYways, it was put on my heart in 2020 to go on a missions trip. I always wanted to go, but felt like I couldn’t because one, I was just a sinner and not set in Gods ways (AKA didn’t feel qualified enough). And two, I didn’t know how I’d do a mission if I wasn’t even planted in a church. That is my lukewarm life put in EXTREMELY shortened terms.

Fast forward to now in 2025, I’m planted in a church that I love so much, I’m serving in our youth ministry, and I’ve been sober for about a year and a half. Plot twist, I’m still just a sinner in a broken and busted world, but I serve a Father that is gracious and majestic. Jesus is truly so, so rad. Last summer, my youth pastor asked me if I’d be interested in joining a select few people & accompanying them to Romania the following summer.

It was just a thought at the time, no plans were set in stone. He just wanted to put the idea in my head. Well, here we are almost a year later, and the Lords been affirming this the whole time in my heart.

WHAT WERE DOING:

From July 11th - July 22nd of this year, I will be headed to Romania with a handful of people to spread the joy of the Lord. These people have poured into me in ways that I am BEYOND thankful for, and I feel so blessed to join them. Our itinerary consists of a few different tasks, but our main mission is to help with their youth church summer camp. We will help with quite literally any task we’re given: set up, clean up, worship, praying for kids, gathering kids, meals, etc. If you could think it, we’re doing it.

This is quite the novel for me to write just to say this: if you can help me get to this Missions Trip, thank you. But if you cannot, that’s okay too. If you could just pray for me and our team that would be equally (if not more) appreciated. This is a big travel trip, a big financial responsibility, a long time away from home, and we would love the extra prayer for guidance, covering, and affirmation from the Lord while we prepare AND while we’re there.
