Hi all,

I am starting this GoFundMe for my sister Vanessa Duthie and her family as they battle her cancer and raise two beautiful girls at the same time. Vanessa was diagnosed with a rare form of Ovarian Cancer over 6 years ago, and it decided to make a comeback right about the time we entered a global pandemic. Vanessa had a debulking surgery to remove tumors from her pelvis as well as a radical hysterectomy. She’s currently undergoing chemo treatments every three weeks, leaving her fatigued and uncomfortable on a daily basis.

Vanessa is a mother, wife, healer, therapist, artist, friend to all, and outdoor enthusiast. Though she has continued to radiate positivity through this ordeal, she could use our help. Vanessa opened up her business (Clayton Family Massage) right before COVID-19 hit, and since starting treatment has been able to work very little. This financial hit is a huge burden and an unfair stress while she should be prioritizing her health.

Vanessa currently has $8,000 in medical bills and is having trouble with insurance covering aspects of her care. Any amount you can donate is so, so appreciated.
