Marathon Des Sables 2025

I am raising money for Cancer Research UK and a military charity that supports serving members, veterans and their families, by completing the Marathon Des Sables 2025 in the Sahara desert. I will be covering 250km in 7 days, starting 6th April.

The MDS is recognised as one of the most challenging multi-day running events in the world and covers 250km+ of sand-dunes over 7 days. The race requires participants to be self-sufficient (carrying everything required for the race; food, sleeping system etc.), manage rationed water and exposure to the Saharan sun.

I want to support the continual development of cancer treatments. Having seen my mum, members of my family and close friends go through it, I hope one day the diagnosis and treatment process becomes less painful.
