Help My Sister Darlene Continue Her Fight
I never imagined I would be writing this, but our family needs help as my sister Darlene fights for her life. She has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lymphoma large B-Cell cancer.
Darlene is currently undergoing chemotherapy and has just begun her second treatment. While we are incredibly grateful that treatment is available, the financial burden is overwhelming. She must meet her out-of-pocket expenses with each chemo treatment, and those costs add up quickly.
What makes this even harder is that Darlene has already faced a lifetime of health challenges. She lives with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), which has caused severe neuropathy in her hands and legs. Over the years, she has endured multiple finger amputations, a recent thyroid removal, and she also battles diabetes. Despite everything, Darlene continues to fight with strength, courage, and grace.
Chemotherapy has taken a toll—physically, emotionally, and financially. Between medical bills, treatments, medications, travel, and everyday living expenses, the stress is immense. The last thing she should have to worry about right now is how she’s going to afford the care that is keeping her alive.
We are asking for help—whether that’s $10, $25, or whatever you are able to give. Every single dollar truly matters and goes directly toward helping Darlene continue her treatments and focus on healing.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Your prayers, kind words, and support mean more than we can ever express.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with Darlene during the fight of her life.
