Johanna's Pectus Excavatum Surgery

If you know Johanna, you know that she has the biggest and kindest heart. Growing up, although she was technically my aunt, we have always had the bond of sisters. She has been the role model everyone dreams of having in their life.
Since her early teens she has battled health complications, long hospital stays, uncomforting news, and long recoveries; although more recently has been diagnosed with a severe case of Pectus Excavatum, also referred to as a sunken chest.
Essentially, Johanna is not able to get the oxygen that she needs, her lung compacity is decreased to 79%, she has fluid around her heart, and her right atrium is being compressed by her sternum.
This makes even daily tasks challenging. She has had to change her lifestyle to avoid over exertion and passing out. She's living day to day in pain just doing her daily activities and running her Italian Restaurant.
On April 22nd she will be having her initial appointment at Mayo Clinic which hopefully means her surgery will take place in May 2021. Before that can happen she has to pay the costs that insurance won't cover out of pocket. Insurance won't cover this surgery as it is out of network and this is the only surgeon willing to take on a case of her severity. Her estimated surgery cost is $93,242.93 without including travel and recovery.
Our family will always provide her with all of the love and support she could possibly need to get through this and recover. Financially, we are fundraising to help reach this intimidating goal in the next three months. If you could help in any way, it would be more than appreciated by Johanna and our family.
