Hi, my name is Fabi and about a year ago my best friend Yumnu and her husband Mohamed had a baby after trying very hard. Unfortunately, they've been through a lot of trials since then. Their beautiful baby boy, Yazdhan, was born with Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome, which negatively affects blood platelet cells. My best friend has been donating blood every week to help keep his platelet count regulated, but this is not sustainable and does not get his platelet count to a normal healthy level. They are Maldivian and live in the Maldives, but they have had to make a very expensive trip to India for needed medical care, where they have been almost a year. They will have to stay for another six months to a year, or more if things do not go as planned. They cannot afford this, but their baby needs a bone marrow transplant and that takes time. Please help my best friend's baby stay alive and live a healthy life by funding his bone marrow transplant and his parent's ability to stay in India where they can get the medical care they need for him. They have already spent the equivalent of more than 10k USD that they do not have for their baby, and need over 300k more. This is an impossible amount of money for them, but they have to try and do what they can for their child.
