Please Help YaYa & Fam Recover Losses from Storms

Greetings, Fam, my name is Rosesharon & i'm initiating this fundraiser for my beloved friend (mi hermanx de corazon ) & their family (elderly folx and 19 year old son) who have been displaced after the recent storms & flooding we've been experiencing here in Northern CA.

Damages to their home (which is currently uninhabitable) include a punctured roof, cracked frame, uprooted trees, demolished fencing, storage & personal items as well as a totalled car.

YaYa comes from a lineage of activists; they are a generous & big hearted soul who is constantly giving to our community; the same is true for their parents, who are both retired teachers & provide weekly homecooked meals for the shelterless population in the Sacramento area.

Since the storms & subsequent home damage, i have seen them move between at least 4 different locations, while YaYa is also holding down a job in SF and caring for her elderly folx & son. Their credit cards are nearly maxed out on housing costs. While they are processing paperwork for home insurance, the yet to be received deductible is only a portion of what it will cost to cover their housing, have their home repaired, their car replaced and to get them back on solid ground.
