Hi everyone,

I’m creating this fundraiser with a humble and prayerful heart to ask for help for my dear friend, Jennifer Mananquil, who recently went through an unexpected and difficult medical emergency.

Jennifer was expecting to give birth to her first baby in March, but on December 28, everything changed suddenly. Her water broke prematurely, and due to the urgency of the situation, doctors had to perform an emergency C-section to safely deliver her baby.

While we are deeply grateful that both Jennifer and her baby made it through the surgery, her baby was born early and is currently receiving care in the NICU. This has brought emotional strain and significant financial challenges during what should have been a joyful time.

The sudden emergency has left Jennifer and her family facing overwhelming medical expenses, including hospital and surgical bills, NICU care, medications, and recovery-related costs. In the Philippines, these unexpected expenses can quickly become unmanageable, especially without time to prepare.

Jennifer is now recovering from major surgery while carrying the emotional weight of seeing her newborn in the NICU—something no mother should have to face alone. Yet even in this difficult season, we hold onto God’s promises:

“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart.” — Psalm 34:18

We believe God’s hand has been present through every step—from the emergency surgery to the care surrounding her precious baby. As Scripture reminds us:

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you.” — Psalm 55:22
