Help a grieving family in their time of mourning

Hi, my name is Angel McGovern, wife of Frank McGovern, Mike's best friend of over 20 years. I've been struggling to find the right words to describe the type of person Mike was, but I'll try my best... Mike was like family to us, not only a friend but a brother. He would always be there for those he cared about in a heartbeat and would literally give you the shirt off his back if you needed it; he was just that type of guy. He was a great friend, uncle, son, brother, cousin, boyfriend and most importantly, father. Mike couldn't wait to be a father. When Mia was born, he told me how crazy it felt to love someone so much; he never knew a love like that before. Then, after the sudden passing of Mia's mother, Lily, he was lucky enough to meet Jamie, who brought with her a stepdaughter, Olivia, with whom he fell in love. Shortly after that, his son Christian came into the world. Watching him with all three just melted my heart; you could see how much he loved his children. My heart hurts for them so much. His loss has put a hole in the hearts of all those who loved him dearly. We will never truly ever be the same. The sudden taking of his life has left his family and friends devastated. To take away some of the stress of the financial burden placed on his family, I started this page hoping to provide one less thing for them to worry about.
