Good morning guys, many of you know my family personally, many of you don’t and have watched our babies grow up here on social media and have come to be Facebook aunties and uncles. Last month we brought Yates to the doctor because he had a rash in his mouth that looked like blisters... Tests were ran on him and the doctors came back with confused and terrified looks and they then sent us to the emergency room at Women’s and Children’s where Yates was diagnosed with T cell lymphoblastic leukemia. I can not put into words the pain Cody and I felt in that moment. When the doctors told us this he was not sad or as terrified as he was initially because this cancer is 95 percent curable and said Yates will be ok. He was accepted as a warrior at St. Jude and will be receiving his treatments there. We found out Tuesday afternoon and cody and Yates flew there that night. My brother in law drove myself and the kids there that same night also. He has begun chemo and steroids and has been making improvements every day. God has literally been carrying us through this entire process. He has been such little warriors and I wish and pray that I have half his strength. I’m posting because we have witnessing in this week the power of prayer like never before and we can use even more prayers. If y’all could add him and us to yalls prayer list I would be the most grateful. We’ve been discharged from the hospital and are going to have to just come to the hospital for treatments. I thank you all for taking the time to read this. Please pray for us as we can’t have Carsen and Maddox at the hospital with us due to covid. We will be traveling back and forth for them to be able to see us at a hotel nearby until they go home with my brother. It’s hard but we know this is only a bump in the road and God said he would heal him and our hearts. We are not used to being apart in any capacity so again, please pray for us. We are all in agreement with our Heavenly Father for Yates full recovery. Y’all be blessed
