Yasmin's campaign for Kashmir Orphans Relief Trust
As-salamu alaykum brothers and sisters,
I hope everyone is well and safe.
I have started a Go Fund me page to raise funds for KORT, an orphanage based in Akhtarabad, Azad Kashimr. I am doing this in the name of my dear Mother (Mahfooz Begum w/o Mohammed Sajawal Luton) who sadly passed away in January last year. I aim to raise to £1,000 in her memory by jogging 2 miles each day this month.
The money (sadqah) raised will help sustain the orphanage, which provides shelter, food, clothing, medical care and education for the orphans.
For this sadqah, KORT will also kindly place a memorable title in my beloved mothers name.
We are all facing difficulties during this Pandemic and one can only imagine the trials charities like KORT must be facing during this difficult period to provide for the many children in the orphanage.
Therfore, I request that you support me while I jog 2 miles each day this month by making a donation. No amount is too small to help those in need and it will be Sadaqah Jariyah for you too.
