It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the tragic loss of our beloved Yasen Sharif, a young man whose life was taken far too soon.

Yasen was only 27, with his whole future ahead of him. He had recently graduated in Computer Science and was working towards completing his Master’s in Artificial Intelligence, which he was due to finish this November. Alongside his studies, he was working hard, balancing both responsibilities with determination and strength, all while saving for his upcoming wedding in just two months’ time.

Tragically, Yasen passed away following an unforeseen accident at work in Liverpool, at Primrose Business Park. His sudden loss has left everyone who knew him in deep shock and unimaginable grief.

Yasen was known for his warmth, his kindness, and his incredible selflessness. He was the kind of person who would go out of his way for anyone, always putting others before himself without hesitation. His smile was truly infectious, lighting up every room he walked into, and his presence brought comfort, laughter, and positivity to those around him.

He was a loyal friend and someone whose character left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Anyone who knew Yasen, whether closely or even briefly, will tell you the same, he was full of love, generosity, and sincerity.

During this devastating time, those closest to him are understandably unable to return to normal life. They are grieving, overwhelmed, and trying to come to terms with a loss that no one should ever have to endure.

All donations will go towards building water wells for people who don’t have access to clean water in Yasen’s memory. This memorial is a project that truly reflects. Anyone that knows him, knows he always wanted to help those in need, whether that was in his local community or the international one - something the world truly needs right now. Through this, we hope to continue his legacy of kindness and help others in a way he always would have. This is what Yasen would have wanted more than anything

He had this presence about him, a smile that could light up a whole room, a heart full of love, and a nature that was genuinely selfless. He would go above and beyond for the people he loved, every single time.

We made memories with him that we will carry for the rest of our lives, memories we thought we would have so much more time to add to.

Losing him has changed us forever.
