It is difficult to write about the death of my own brother, Yared, already using the past tense. We are devestated. Reality hasn’t sunk in to any of us yet, and no amount of mourning seems to abate our pain, especially for mom!!!
On June 28th, 2017, our family’s life was suddenly shattered and shaken by the passing of our beloved, Yared Daniel at the age of 37. To make matters worse, dad passed out upon finding Yared’s lifeless body that fateful day. It was only hours later mom would find both of them unresponsive. Dad had to be hospitalized and remains in a comma to this day and the prognosis hasn’t been good.
We are emotionally exhausted and financially unprepared. It is equally difficult to ask for money to help us. I see no option but to reach out to the kindness of those who really knew Yared and were touched by his charisma, kindness, infectious smile, and great sense of humor. I’m also appealing to the kindness of strangers who may feel our pain during this trying time and understand the need to collect funds necessary for Yared’s funeral expenses and medical expenses to our father, Daniel.
I’m sure Yared would have scolded me for posting this ad, but it is out of despair I’m asking for your contribution towards the burial of my sweet brother. Any amount helps and on behalf of the family, I want to sincerely thank you for your kindness.
